Come celebrate 100 years of the Faculty of Medicine’s Daffydil with this year’s production: Daffydilirium! Daffydil is an annual production written, directed and performed by professional students in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. It highlights student creativity and talent by satirizing medical school life in a highly entertaining fashion. This year the production will debut as a musical and chroniclizes the journey of the most ill-tempered, unenthusiastic medical student who is forced to direct the 100th Daffydil and the production mayhem that ensues before opening night. All proceeds from the show are donated to the Canadian Cancer Society with over $500 000 raised to date. The show will be performed at Hart House Theatre from February 23rd to 26th 2011 at 8pm. If you are looking for some witty medical humour, insight into the minds of medical students or just high quality entertainment, pick up your tickets today. Tickets can be purchased from U of T Tix.
