Heart Health Dinner- February 14, 2009
In collaboration with St. Felix Centre, IMAGINE organized a Heart Health dinner for underserved families in downtown Toronto. In keeping with the Valentine's Day date, the theme of the dinner was "do something good for your heart". St. Felix received donations of pedometers and skipping ropes, which volunteers distributed with valentines to the adults and kids in attendance.

IMAGINE Christmas Dinner- December 8, 2009
IMAGINE's Community Partnerships team partnered with the St. Christopher House: Meeting Place staff to host a Christmas holiday dinner for the clients. Hats, scarves, mittens, and socks donated by the University of Toronto's students as part of IMAGINE's charity drive were handed out to clients at the conclusion of the dinner, and were greatly appreciated!

IMAGINE at the Meeting Place's Christmas Dinner- December 18, 2008
IMAGINE Holiday Gathering- December 6, 2008
To improve the relationship and trust between IMAGINE and the clients of the Meeting Place, we held a small holiday gathering on a quiet Saturday afternoon in December. A team of nurses from our health promotion team prepared several presentation boards on hypertension and a number of sexual health topics. It was a laid-back event, with members answering the odd health question and sharing cookies and cider with the clients. Two weeks later, IMAGINE volunteers attended St. Chris's Christmas gathering to serve food and drinks, as well as to learn more from the clients of the Meeting Place.
