Recruiting Executive Members for 2011-12 (deadline Mar 8, 2011)
Dear Students,
The IMAGINE (Interprofessional Medical and Allied Groups for Improving Neighbourhood Environment) Program is the University of Toronto’s first interprofessional student-run health initiative.
The IMAGINE initiative includes three facets:
- CLINIC: In partnernship with the Queen West Community Health Centre, the Clinic provides hassle-free health care services to underserved populations.
- WORKSHOPS: In partnership with St. Christopher House: The Meeting Place (a Toronto adult drop-in centre), the Health Promotion committee provides health workshops targeted at underserved populations.
- COMMUNITY OUTREACH: The Community Outreach committee regularly partners with local drop-in centres and community agencies to organize outreach programs, promote relevant charity drives, and improve social supports.
We are now recruiting EXECUTIVE MEMBERS who are eager to join our team for the 2011-2012 academic year.
The following positions for U of T students are available:
- Health Promotion (2)
- Community Outreach (2)
- Volunteer Coordinator (2)
- Preceptor Recruitment (2)
- Communications Chair (1)
The following UofT students are eligible to apply for the EXECUTIVE positions:
- Current 1st, 2nd or 3rd year dental students
- Current 1st year nursing students
- Current 1st year medical students
- Current 1st year occupational therapy students
- Current 1st, 2nd or 3rd year pharmacy students
- Current 1st year physical therapy students
- Current 1st year social work students
- Current 1st year speech language pathology students
